In 2020, HCM managed an ambitious conversion of a residential building into a sleek, modern, and light-filled legal office. The project also involved renovating the exterior, creating a stone front entry with modern glass railings and parking facilities in the back (with zoning for extra parking in the front).
To build basement offices, we removed block walls and gutted the lower level, involving 2.5 feet of underpinning and steel beams to create an open concept workspace. From there, we designed and built attractive rental offices, storage facilities, public washrooms, and a custom kitchen, all to attract upscale tenants.
